If I may suggest I would like get some information about the Sequence of Tenses. I have often met with a subject sentence where the main clause was in the Past Tense, while the subordinate clause was in Present Tense. Though it was evident that the verb in the subordinate clouse had nothing to do with present time....Was there any reason why it was so?
Thanks Jaro
Hello Broňa,
Thaks for your lectures. I like to watch them on the Internet. I listen to the BBC regularly so I had known the pronunciation of the geographical places you talked about. But there are many other their pronunciation I do not know well. E.g. "Oceanie". As the Worcester is concerned I met a hotel guest coming from that city. At that time we were in the Canary Islands and I hung up an antenna from the balcony at the hotel and it swang over his room window. Later on he tied the antenna wire to his balcony railing. Next day he appologized and said that he had thought that a spy wanted to get secret of their Worcester sauce. Do you think that the pronunciation of it is the same like(as?) that of the town? Take care and go on!

Navrhuji, ať ty dívky a ženy které se cítí "zíráním" pokořeny, tak ať nosí hidjab (byla by to ale velká škoda)
