A European colonial settlement in the Middle East, created in 1948, in large part with the help of European countries (Czechia included) that helped facilitate the Holocaust and wanted the remaining Jews gone rather than provide them with reparations in their own countries. Zionism is a racist ideology that feels Jews are better than everyone else and that they have rights to land they hadn't lived on for thousands of years. They felt they had the right to move from Europe and confiscate the property of Palestinians, ethnically cleansing 3/4 of a million from their new state and murdering 30,000 in the process. Not happy with a mere 56% of a land in which they were only 30% of the population that the Western powers granted them, they took more until they had 78% of the land. Since that time in 1948 Israel has been killing, terrorizing and stealing more and more land. The numbers killed on both sides are not even close. Palestinians resist further occupation that is conducted with murderous force and are met with a barrage of more murders equalling 100 times that of what they dealt to the Zionists. The number dead now is estimated by many international organizations to be anywhere between 42,000 and over 100,000. When Germany was doing this to Czechia from 1938 to 1945, Czechs were outraged and pleaded for international help. There are monuments remembering entire villages like Lidice, that were annihilated. And yet, Czechs cannot understand history well enough to realize that Israel is to Palestine what Germany was to Czechia. The brainwashing in this country is astounding
Interesting the "journalist" initially claimed dozens showed up, then later said hundreds while the police estimated well over a thousand were there. Why didn't he just claim it didn't happen at all? His in depth "reporting" informed us that bascially a demonstration took place--hardly more information than what you can read in the headline. He then discussed the cancellation of the December protest, gave a fabricated and false definition of the slogan "From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free," then discussed an earlier protest in November and concluded with yet another recap of the Oct 7th attack and Fiala's emotional response to it. Why didn't he include the reasons for the protest as stated by a representative of Charter 77, a Czech doctor from "doctors without borders" who visited Palestine in 2001, or maybe the speech from Czechs of the Jewish faith and a peace song presented in Yiddish by the "Prague Revolutionary Choir"? Perhaps he could've mentioned the messages from Palestinians living in Czechia who described the horrors faced by children and babies in Palestine who've died in hospitals because their electricity has been shut off or destroyed by Israel's IOF terrorists, or the mothers, or soon to be mothers, that fear their unborn will die before they can hold them in their arms. If perhaps the journalist could've at least painted a face of humanity on the plight of the people of whom the protest was organized for, maybe we could actually call this journalism.
Just who are the terrorists? In 1930, Jews made up about 10% of the population of Palestine--Palistinians constituted about 85%. In 1949, Zionist declared 78% of Palestine to be Israel--a Jewish homeland--and brutally kicked out nearly one million Palestinians from their homes and forced them to flea to Gaza and the West Bank. In 1930 Germans made up 25% of the population of Czechoslovakia. In 1938, Germany claimed all of Czechoslovakia under German control--for the German fatherland. I ask you agin: who are the terrorists? Don't forget your history, Czechs!
"From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free," has multiple interpretations. It can mean that all Palestinians living between the river and the sea should be able to live as free citizens whether in Gaza, the West Bank or Israel. It could even mean the dissolution of the Israel state, but only in its political form to be replaced by one demoratic state for both Jews, Palestinians, or Christians for that matter--similar to how it was pre-1948/9 before Zionists (who were roughly 25% of the population) claimed 78% of the land. In any case, it certainly doesn't mean eliminate the Jews. Not even official statements from Hamas claim that.
Exactly. He's not as sharp as he used to be but he doesn't have dementia...yet. Reagan was far worse off. And Congress doesn't decide whether he's mentally competent anyway, his cabinet does. He also can't be impeached for what his son did before he was elected. As bad a president as he may be (which is another discussion), a president can't be impeached because the other party simply doesn't like him. He has to commit "treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors" to be impeached and convicted.

So, basically, the IDF took a Lebanese navy captain hostage. And you write the article with the enthusiasm of a movie critic watching a Bond film. Europe--leave the Middle East. Stop committing genocide on anyone you think isn't like you. Stop invading other people's land. And Czechs, you should know better--German occupation, Russian occupation, et al...just leave people alone, ok?
